Designed according to mass balance and orientation requirements, two residential blocks, one horizontal and one vertical were settled on top of the shopping mall building already designed. Thus, whole the structural system of the existing shopping mall building was renewed. Within the shopping mall, there are about 200 stores, 9 cinema halls, food courts, children’s areas and a Festival Park with a capacity of 5000.
The project was nominated a finalist in the “Best Retail & Leisure Development” category of MAPIC International Retail Property Market 2012 held in Cannes, France, and also won European Property Awards for “Best Retail Development” and “Highly Commended Mixed Use Development” the same year.In 2013, the project received a BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology) certificate result of “Good”.
